Happy Farmer

Lovely start to the morning, we had an Ayrshire Farmer on the phone ordering more Blue Clay Shoes.

Ecohoof Blue Clay Shoes have received lots of positive feedback since our official launch at the Livestock Event in July last year (and you never get sick of hearing how well the product works.)

The farmer, Craig, told Raymond he hadn’t seen such great results in using a non medicine product.  He even told us the difference in his animals even after first use was outstanding.

Needless to say the farmer ordered out 3kg bucket for his repeat order.

Ecohoof Events

Summer is always a busy time for Ecohoof Events and this year it has been even busier with our recent launch of our new product Ecohoof Blue Clay Shoes.

As you’ll already be tired of hearing – we had a great success at The Livestock Event in Birmingham and found ourselves in the final of RABDF Prince Philip Award

The Royal Highland and Royal Welsh Show came and went with me sitting at my computer screen, watching live coverage from the show (on my lunch break of course)
We were sad to miss out on these shows however we plan to go to Royal Welsh Show next year.

But back to this year…

Our next events are:

Ecohoof EU are at Clogher Valley Show tomorrow (29 July)

Ecohoof will join ACT group at the Shearwell Thame Summer Sheep Show in Oxford on the 6th and 7th of August

Ecohoof will travel to Co.Tyrone to join Ecohoof EU for The Jacob Sheep Show on 15th August

The next is, the one I am most exited about, UK Dairy Day in Shropshire on the 16th September

On to another trip with Ecohoof EU in Co. Laois for The National Ploughing Show Championship  on 22-24th September .

Thats all the events we have booked to show at this Summer however I am sure we will be attending many more before we get to a couple of local ones for us in the winter – The Agriscot on 18 November and the the LiveScot winter faire on 28th November.

Livestock Event 2015

Well things have finally calmed down (a little) after a busy week post,  a busy couple of days at,  The Livestock Event in Birmingham’s NEC.

3 members of the Ecohoof team, in Strathaven, met up with 2 of Ecohoof’s Irish Agents in Birmingham for the 2 day event last week.

We were astounded by the reaction we received at the event in particular the interest in our newest product Ecohoof Blue Clay Shoes.

The Blue Clay Shoes flew (or ran) off the stand on both days of the event with many other orders been taken.

We enjoyed meeting with new and existing customers, as well as many of our social media friends. It was a joy to put a face to a tweet.

The week following The Livestock Event involved a lot of extra manufacturing (the boss even came in at the weekend!) and many new orders being dispatched around the country.

After a successful trip, to Lemmington Spa in April, promoting our latest innovative product-
Blue Clay Shoes we have found information on Ecohoof Blue Clay Shoes in Farmers Weekly and Dairy Farmer.

 

Blue Clay shoes will be officially launched at The Livestock Event, in Birmingham,
on the 8-9th July 2015.
It’d be great to see you there – we will be at stand LE319.

Irish Farms

Considering recent events, it is more important than ever that Irish farmers are shown to be serious about bio-security.

Ecohoof Germicide is independently tested to veterinary EN standards, EN 1656 & EN 14204, and is a suitable product to use as a disinfecting bath for wellingtons etc. at entrances/exits throughout the farm, and could also be used for a vehicle tyre drive through or of course a wash down – in bucket or spray.

The recent sunshine and wind is starting to dry up the soggy ground –
which was just as well for all the thousands of cars parked on the fields at North Sheep 2015.

Tom and Karay travelled down to Cockermouth to the North Sheep Event yesterday (3/5/15) and were both astounded by the amount of visitors the event attracted.
They had a successful day talking to Visitors, farmers and Agricultural Trade Businesses.

We are looking forward to The Royal Highland Show 2015 18-21st June.
Ecohoof do not have a stand at the show however will have a presence, if you wish to meet us please contact the office, and we will arrange to see you there!

If we do not see you there, Ecohoof’s next big event is the Livestock Event in Birmingham on the 8-9th July! Which we are very excited about as it will see the official launch of our new product

Germicide Footbath Update

Just had our most recent lab report back for tests on Ecohoof Germicide
Amongst others,  it now has EN 14204 accredation. Which means in its normal concentrate it kills 99.999% of Micobacterium Avium.

Micobacterium Avium is a bacteria that can be a cause of chronic TB in hens and also in cattle and is commonly found in all kinds of livestock housing.

Ecohoof Germicide is an excellent but safe disinfectant in it’s own right and perfect for washing down parlours, gullies, even utensils etc.

Most importantly Ecohoof Germicide is a Footbath product – remember 1 small 3.5 kilo tub makes 1000 litres of ready to use product.

Make the product up in an IBC and draw from it as required.

What a busy couple of weeks it has been at Ecohoof.

On Friday Raymond and Tom made their way to Lemington Spa, in their Blue Suede Shoes, to promote our new product at Livestock New Product Briefing .
They all seemed to enjoy our unique marketing and informative presentation and they also looked good in their new Ecohoof Hats!

Boys Day Out

Peace and quiet in the office yesterday as Tom & Ray were away to Ireland.

They were pleased to meet with our Irish agents along with some new sales people. (Glad to finally put faces to names!)

The sales people were very enthusiastic about the new products Ecohoof are introducing in Ireland, especially after the success of Ecohoof Germicide Footbath.So there are now some new innovative Ecohoof Products en-route to Ireland to benefit the Irish Farmer.
