Our Ecohoof Germicide Footbath was one of products Ecohoof launched with just over 2 years ago!
Ecohoof Germicide is a concentrated powder footbath to be used regularly as a preventative product helping to keep hoofs free from infection.

Germicide saw great success in first year of sales, with many repeat orders and quickly formed a loyal customer base.

However Ecohoof saw a slight decline in sales after some bad press regarding QUATS as unfortunately Germicide contains QUATS.
QUATS: Quaternary Ammonnium Compounds  is a group of chemicals generally used in surfactants

As much as Ecohoof disagreed with the negative comments regarding QUATS (in use in footbath only) and argued there are several other footbath products with more hazardous and dangerous chemicals on the market – but we still decided to press on and step up our game to do something about it!

Ecohoof’s technical department worked hard formulating a new foot bath product and have finally come up with HOOF CONTROL which is QUATS FREE! FORMALIN FREE! COPPER FREE!

Hoof Control is a powerful but eco friendly footbath solution with no disposal issues. Hoof Control effectively kills and deters build-up of bacteria while cleansing the hoof.
